Dinner and Gathering Lecture with Rabbi Mentz

    at the Chabad Center, 159 Boden Lane in Natick

    The topic is:

    "Ancient Myths, Modern Media - Israel and the Jews"

    An insightful lecture exploring the roots of antisemitism, its modern manifestations, and how Jewish identity, unity, and resilience remain our strongest response.

    A kosher Chinese dinner will be served.

  • Rabbi Chaim Mentz, born in 1959, grew up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, where he was inspired and guided by the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, OBM. He graduated from Rabbinical College of America and received his rabbinical ordination at the age of 22.

    Rabbi Mentz went on to lead youth programs throughout California, building a network of more than 5,000 active members. After marrying his wife, Charna, the couple moved to Bel Air, California, where they opened a Chabad House dedicated to community outreach and Jewish education.

    Living among many in the entertainment industry, Rabbi Mentz created and hosted a weekly cable television program called Basic Judaism, which aired for three years. He later hosted a radio program for five years on KFI, one of the largest talk radio stations in America. Today, Rabbi Mentz continues to share insight and commentary through appearances on Fox News.

    Rabbi Mentz is a world-renowned international speaker who lectures on topics including education, marriage, Judaism, family life, and contemporary social issues, inspiring audiences around the world with practical wisdom, humor, and timeless Jewish values. 


  • Following the program, for those who wish to stay later, Rabbi Chaim Mentz will lead - a farbrengen - an informal Chasidic gathering where participants can join in open discussion. The Farbrengen is in honor of  the upcoming date of 3 Tammuz, which marks the 32nd anniversary of the passing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson. This program also corresponds with the 1st of Tammuz ,the Yartzeit of Rabbi Hershel Fogelman of blessed memory, a dedicated Chasid of the Rebbe and one of the pioneer Shluchim in the United States..
